Terms of Service

Welcome to CopyMe. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CopyMe mobile application, the website at copyme.trade, and related services (together, the "Service").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who we are and what we provide

CopyMe is an execution tool that allows users ("Copiers") to automatically replicate trades placed by other users ("Master Traders") on the Bybit exchange. CopyMe is not a fund, brokerage, broker-dealer, investment advisor, or financial advisor. We do not hold your funds, give personalized investment advice, or guarantee any outcome.
You remain responsible for your own trading decisions, including the decision to follow a particular Master Trader, the risk level you select, and the funds you commit.

2. Eligibility

To use the Service, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Be legally able to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction
  • Be permitted to use Bybit in your country (the Service is not available to users located in the United States or any country where Bybit does not operate)
  • Provide accurate information during registration and keep it up to date

3. Your account and Bybit connection

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your CopyMe credentials and Bybit API key
  • All activity that occurs under your account
  • Creating your Bybit account through the CopyMe referral link (or completing identity transfer) as required for verification

API credentials provided to CopyMe must not include withdrawal permission. You may disconnect your Bybit account at any time.

4. Risk disclosure

Crypto trading carries substantial risk, including the risk of losing all capital you commit. Leverage, market volatility, and sudden price movements can cause rapid and significant losses. Past performance of any Master Trader is not a guarantee or indicator of future results.

You acknowledge that:

  • You understand how cryptocurrency trading and leverage work
  • You accept responsibility for your trading outcomes
  • CopyMe is not liable for losses resulting from market movements, exchange downtime, or the decisions of Master Traders

5. Fees and subscriptions

CopyMe is free to use at entry-level risk settings. Higher risk levels require a monthly subscription, billed through the payment method you choose in the app. Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
CopyMe also receives a share of trading fees generated through the Service. Full fee structure is available inside the app.
Identity verification: Upgrading to a paid subscription requires you to complete identity verification (KYC). See Section 7 for details.

6. Referral program

CopyMe operates a referral program through which users can earn commissions on the activity of users they invite. By participating, you agree not to make misleading claims about the Service, to comply with applicable marketing laws in your jurisdiction, and to use only the promotional materials we authorize. Detailed referral terms are available inside the app.
Identity verification: Receiving affiliate commission payouts requires you to complete identity verification (KYC). See Section 7 for details.

7. Identity verification (KYC)

To comply with applicable financial regulations and to protect the Service from fraud, CopyMe requires identity verification (KYC) before you can:

  • Upgrade to a paid risk-level subscription
  • Receive affiliate commission payouts
  • Deposit, withdraw, or otherwise use the in-app wallet
You can continue to use CopyMe at the free tier without completing KYC.
By submitting KYC information, you confirm that the information and documents you provide are true, accurate, and belong to you. Submitting false, altered, or third-party information is a violation of these Terms and will result in account suspension.
KYC is processed by a third-party identity verification provider acting on CopyMe's instruction. The collection, storage, and use of your KYC data is further described in our Privacy Policy.
We may refuse or revoke access to paid features, the affiliate program, or the wallet if KYC cannot be completed, if verification fails, or if we are required to do so by law.

8. Master Trader status

If you apply to become and are approved as a Master Trader, you agree to additional obligations, including: trading only through the CopyMe-enforced risk framework, setting a take profit on every trade, and not increasing risk on live trades. We may demote, suspend, or remove you as a Master Trader at our sole discretion if your trading does not meet CopyMe's standards of discipline and consistency.

9. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
  • Attempt to manipulate, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Service
  • Use the Service if you are prohibited from using Bybit
  • Misrepresent your identity, location, or eligibility
  • Use another person's API credentials or share yours

10. Intellectual property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including logos, graphics, software, and text — are owned by CopyMe or our licensors and protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that the Service will meet your specific needs. We do not guarantee any trading result, profit, or preservation of capital.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CopyMe, its officers, employees, and affiliates are not liable for:

  • Any trading losses you incur while using the Service
  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Any loss resulting from exchange downtime, API failures, or delays outside our reasonable control

Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid to CopyMe in the twelve months preceding the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold CopyMe harmless from any claim, loss, or expense arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for any violation of these Terms, suspected fraud, or to comply with law. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

15. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified to you via email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of a change constitutes acceptance.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in the courts of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, which shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have in your country of residence.
